Eowyn
Eowyn Rieke is a mom to 2 dogs and a kid, a community member and an addictions medicine doctor. She loves supporting people as they make changes in their substance use and figure out next steps in their lives.
She loves long acting injectable buprenorphine and how much it helps people move forward with self-determination and day-to-day comfort. She also loves to look at things from the systems level and help make our substance use services more kind, joyful and fun (trauma-informed and person-centered too).
Eowyn has had the privilege of serving in leadership at Central City Concern and Fora Health, and is currently a medical provider at Recovery Works NW. Eowyn also served on the 1st Measure 110 Oversight and Accountability Council, as well as president of the Oregon Society of Addiction Medicine chapter in 2022-2023. Eowyn tries really hard not to go too fast and take things too seriously, with mixed results. Her super-awesome, Narcan-carrying, nonbinary activist teenager and beloved rescue Pitbull named Toad Macaroni help out with this a lot.
